What Ownlight collects, why, and how long it is kept. The short version: very little.

This website

There are no analytics or advertising scripts.
Your theme choice is saved in your browser’s local storage. It stays on your device.
The hosting provider keeps access and security logs.
The homepage shows screenshots and short videos served from this site. It does not connect to your agents, read your files or use your microphone.

Stripe processes all payment details. We never see your card number.
Our licence service stores your e-mail address, order id, licence id and edition. We use them to issue your licence key and to send it again if you need it.
Licence e-mails are sent through Resend.

Stripe’s own handling of your payment is described in the Stripe privacy policy.

Ownlight has no telemetry.
Update checks contact updates.ownlight.ai. They send no licence, install id or usage data. The update host sees your IP address and user agent, as any web server does.
Your licence is verified offline, on your machine.
Phone pairing stays on your own network, unless you set up your own remote access.
The AI agents and model providers you connect are separate services with their own privacy policies.

We keep order records so we can reissue licence keys, and for tax and business records.

You can ask us to delete your data. Write to support@ownlight.ai.
